The Virginia Association of Counties hosts its Rural Caucus to provide rural members with opportunities to meet and discuss the unique challenges and opportunities within their communities. As with the VACo policy committees, this body influences the educational efforts and policy goals of the Association. Those wishing to be a part of the Caucus should complete the caucus interest form and return it to Angela Inglett at ainglett@vaco.org by January 31.
At this time, we have one meeting scheduled at the 2019 Annual Conference. However, additional meeting or educational opportunities may be made available throughout the year as well.
We look forward to an exciting year with increased engagement within the Caucus, and hope that you, as a leader of a rural community, will take advantage of the educational resources made available through this body.
