Gage handles all aspects of communications, public relations, media relations and social media. His responsibilities include writing, editing and designing publications, building and maintaining the website, mobile technology, photography and video as well as tackling media projects. He also is in charge of VACo’s Achievement Awards program.
Gage joined VACo in February 2008. Gage worked eight years as a sports writer at the San Antonio Express-News and the Orange County Register. Locally, he worked for the VCU Health System and a small advertising agency. He coaches three sports at a local private school and loves spending time with his wife and two daughters.
Gage graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a degree in Mass Communications.
